The Nucleo GX is Victron's compact quad-core GX device — Ekrano GX-level speed at a lower cost. It's the communication and control hub of a Victron system: it monitors battery status, power consumption, PV, generator, and mains input in real time, logs everything to the free VRM portal, and gives you Remote Console access from anywhere. A deliberately focused feature set — fast processor, deep device connectivity, no onboard I/O — makes it a natural fit for ESS and off-grid systems built around the Multi RS, and for any install where accessories handle the I/O.
Where the Nucleo GX fits
- RV and van systems — full-system monitoring (MPPTs, SmartShunt, inverter/charger) with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, plus ECE R10 automotive approval.
- Boats — a wall- or DIN-rail-mounted brain for the electrical system; monitor from a phone or tablet, or add an Android GX Wi-Fi display at the helm or nav station.
- Off-grid and ESS builds — Victron's recommended companion for the Multi RS; VE.Can plus 25-device VE.Direct capacity covers large systems.

Quad-core speed
The same performance class as the Ekrano GX — menus, VRM logging, and firmware updates all run fast, even with a long device list attached.
Serious device connectivity
Two VE.Direct ports with support for up to 25 VE.Direct devices in total (additional devices via USB), two VE.Can ports (VE.Can 1 isolated, VE.Can 2 non-isolated), Ethernet, built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, three USB host ports, and a microSD slot. RuuviTag wireless sensors are supported out of the box, and a built-in buzzer covers local alarms.
Remote everything
Manage the system from anywhere through Remote Console on the VRM portal, the VictronConnect app, or a web browser — monitoring, alerts, configuration, and remote firmware updates included. Venus OS generator start/stop is supported; add a GX IO Extender 150 for the relay contacts, since the Nucleo itself carries no onboard relays.
Extend I/O only if you need it
The Nucleo keeps its cost down by leaving out onboard tank inputs, temperature inputs, digital inputs, and relays. When a system needs them, add the optional USB accessories: the GX IO Extender 150, an MK3-USB interface, or a GX Tank 140.
Nucleo GX or Cerbo GX? The Cerbo GX MK2 carries onboard I/O — tank and temperature inputs, digital inputs, relays, and the GX Touch display option. The Nucleo GX trades that I/O away for a faster processor, more VE.Direct capacity, and a lower price. If your system needs tank senders or relay outputs without extra boxes, the Cerbo is the better fit; if you want speed and device capacity for the money — especially alongside a Multi RS — the Nucleo is the sharper buy.
