Torqeedo accessories FAQ
Quick answers before you buy.
Which battery and charger fit my Torqeedo?
Travel motors use a clip-on Travel battery (the Travel, Travel XS, or Travel XP pack); Cruise motors run on a separate Power 24-3500 or Power 48-5000 bank. Each has matching wall, fast, and solar chargers. Tell us your motor and we'll confirm the pack and charger.
How do I choose the right propeller?
Propellers are specific to each family (Travel / Ultralight, Travel XP, Cruise 3.0, Cruise 6.0, Cruise 10.0 / 12.0) and come in standard, weedless, and folding styles. Weedless sheds grass in the shallows; folding props cut drag under sail.
Do I need a sacrificial anode?
In salt water, yes — the anode corrodes in place of your motor's metal parts. Replace it once it's worn down. We stock aluminum and zinc sets for Travel and Cruise.
Can I add remote steering to my Travel motor?
Yes — a remote kit plus a TorqLink or side-mount throttle moves steering and throttle to a console or helm. We can confirm the right kit for your model.
