Match the pack to the motor
ePropulsion batteries are family-specific — each pack is engineered around its motor's connectors, comms, and charging. Find your motor below and the right battery is on the same row.

How to choose, in three questions
Match the family, size the capacity, plan the charging.
Which motor family?
This one's not a judgment call: Spirit motors take Spirit packs, Navy and Pod Drive Evo run on E-Series, and the eSSA X, I, and POD drives use the G-Series 96V. The connectors and comms only line up within the family — which is exactly why the systems work so well.
How much capacity?
Think in hours on the water. A bigger pack — or a second one swapped mid-day — is the honest way to extend range, and E-Series and G-Series lines offer multiple sizes for exactly that reason. Tell us your boat and typical outing and we'll translate watt-hours into real time.
How will you charge?
Standard chargers suit overnight dockside charging; fast chargers earn their keep when you turn the boat around same-day. Solar can top up Spirit packs at a mooring. Your charging window — not the battery — usually decides this one.

ePropulsion battery FAQ
Can I use one ePropulsion battery on a different ePropulsion motor?
Only within its family. Spirit packs fit Spirit motors, E-Series feeds Navy and Pod Drive Evo, and G-Series is the eSSA pack. Connectors, communication, and charging are engineered per family, so cross-family mixing isn't supported — if you're unsure which family you're in, ask us with your motor's model number.
Do the Spirit batteries really float?
They do — buoyant, sealed packs are one of ePropulsion's signature touches on the Spirit line. If the battery ever goes over the side during a swap, it bobs politely instead of heading for the bottom with several hundred dollars of lithium.
How should I store a pack over winter?
Cool, dry, and partially charged is the happy place for lithium in storage — avoid leaving it full or empty for months, and top it into a healthy mid-range charge before it sleeps. Check charge state once or twice over the season. Exact recommendations are in your pack's manual, and we're glad to walk through it.
Can I add a second battery for longer days?
That's the classic move — a charged spare turns lunch into a battery swap instead of the end of the day. E-Series and G-Series systems also offer larger capacities outright. Which path is cheaper per hour on the water depends on your motor; we'll do that math with you.
What's the warranty story?
ePropulsion covers its batteries with a limited warranty for recreational use, and as an authorized dealer we handle the claim if anything comes up — you deal with us in Seattle, not a form overseas. Terms per product are on each battery's page.
