Victron GX IO-Extender 150 – I/O Expansion for GX Systems

The Victron GX IO-Extender 150 is a compact, professional-grade expansion module that adds powerful input, output, and automation capabilities to Victron GX systems. Designed for marine, off-grid, and industrial energy installations, it allows installers and system designers to expand control functionality without the cost or complexity of adding another GX device.

The GX IO-Extender 150 connects directly to a GX device via USB and is fully supported by Venus OS. All configuration and control is handled through the GX interface, VRM, and Node-RED, enabling both local and remote automation. This makes it ideal for advanced energy management, custom system logic, and professional-level monitoring and control workflows.

The module offers a flexible mix of digital inputs, digital outputs, relays, and PWM outputs. Eight configurable digital I/O channels can be set as inputs, outputs, or a combination of both using onboard DIP switches, allowing the module to adapt easily to different system requirements. Integrated LED indicators provide clear visual feedback for all I/O states and PWM activity, simplifying installation and troubleshooting.

Two latching relays support reliable switching of low-power AC or DC circuits while retaining their state during power loss. A solid-state DC switch enables silent, efficient load control, while four PWM outputs allow proportional control of compatible devices such as dimmable lighting or variable-speed equipment.
