Will it get stepped on?
Be honest about this one — on most boats, deck space is walking space eventually. If feet will find the panel, the IRW walkable series is built for exactly that. If it's going on a bimini, cabin top, or other no-traffic zone, the standard flexible line saves you money for the same sun.
How many watts?
Match the array to your daily loads: fridge-and-lights cruising typically wants a few hundred watts, while a topping-up mooring setup can live on one panel. Sol-Go's Maxeon cells keep producing respectably in haze and partial light, which pads real-world harvest beyond the label. We'll run your loads if you share them.
What makes the install last?
Surface prep and strain relief. Bond or lace the panel so it can't lift at the edges, route cables so they don't flex at the junction box, and give the wiring proper drip loops. It's an afternoon done right — and we're happy to talk through your specific surface first.

Can I really walk on the IRW panels?
That's what they're engineered for — impact-resistant, walkable construction made to live on decks and swim platforms. Normal foot traffic is part of the design brief, not an accident it survives. Standard flexible panels, by contrast, prefer to be left alone.
Are the different Sol-Go sizes the same technology?
