Which Cruise 3.0 should I pick — R or T, 24V or 48V?
T is tiller-steered, R is remote / console-steered. 24V and 48V refer to the battery system — the 48V versions pair with higher-voltage Power banks. Tell us your boat and helm and we'll match the right one.
Does the motor include a battery?
No — Cruise motors run on a separate Torqeedo Power battery (plus a charger). The right pack and charger depend on the motor voltage and how far you run, so we'll spec the system with you.
How do I charge the Power battery?
With a standard 350W charger, a faster 1700W fast charger, or a solar charge controller for off-grid charging — all matched to the Power 24-3500.
Is it saltwater safe?
Yes — rinse with fresh water after salt use and replace the sacrificial anodes periodically.
