The TEMO 450 at a glance
Power, battery, and fit — the essentials.
Power & weight
About 1 HP (450 W) in an 11 lb, one-piece motor that folds away — the lightest way to power a kayak, SUP, canoe, or light dinghy.
Battery & charging
Battery is built in — nothing to wire. Top it up from a 110V wall charger or a 12V DC charger.
Mounting & use
Clamps to a small transom or drops into a rowlock fitting; add the buoyancy kit so it floats if it goes over.

TEMO 450 FAQ
How do I charge the TEMO 450?
From a standard 110V wall charger, or from a 12V DC charger when you're away from shore power. The battery is built into the motor, so there's nothing extra to wire.
Can the 450 replace an oar?
Yes — with the removable oarlock fitting it drops into a standard rowlock, so it mounts like an oar on a dinghy or tender without a transom bracket.
What if I drop it in the water?
The buoyancy kit is designed to keep the 450 afloat if it goes overboard, which is cheap peace of mind on a small boat.
Is the TEMO 450 saltwater safe?
Yes — rinse it with fresh water after salt use, the same habit you'd keep with any outboard.
