Travel XP FAQ
Quick answers before you buy.
Does the Travel XP come with a battery?
The motor and the clip-on Travel battery are listed separately, so add a battery to your order. We'll confirm the right pack and how many you need for your range.
How is the XP different from the 3 HP Travel?
The XP is the most powerful Travel motor at about 5 HP-equivalent, with its own propellers, for bigger tenders and heavier sailboat aux duty.
Is there a remote-steered version?
Yes — the Travel XP Remote steers from a console with a TorqLink throttle. See the Travel XP Remote collection.
Is it saltwater safe?
Yes — rinse with fresh water after salt use and replace the anodes periodically.
