Navy Evo FAQ
What battery does the Navy need?
The Navy Evo runs on an external 48V E-Series bank — the E60 or E163 for most boats, or the large E100 (5120 Wh) for maximum range. You size the bank to how far you travel.
Is the Navy a good sailboat auxiliary?
Yes — it's a popular electric auxiliary for cruising sailboats and aluminum fishing boats, and the Evo version hydrogenerates to recharge under sail.
Tiller or remote steering?
Both — the Navy Evo works with a tiller or with Evo top-/side-mount remote controls for helm steering.
Which propeller should I run?
The Navy 6.0 offers low- and high-pitch options (and an aluminum upgrade) to match your boat and load. Our advisors can help you pick.
