RuuviTag Sensors + Victron Cerbo GX & Ekrano GX Monitoring
Wireless monitoring · Victron integration
RuuviTag Wireless Sensors, built into your Victron system
Track temperature, humidity, air pressure and motion anywhere on your boat, RV, or off-grid setup — and read it right on your Victron Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX, in the VRM app, or from the Ruuvi app on your phone.

Why we put RuuviTags in every system
A quick walkthrough of how RuuviTag sensors work and where they earn their keep aboard.
From the Blue Marine workshop — RuuviTag Bluetooth sensors for marine, RV & off-grid systems.
Why RuuviTag
Small sensors, serious peace of mind
Up to 4 readings in one
Temperature, humidity, air pressure, and motion from a single coin-cell sensor — over a year of battery life, no wiring to run.
Place it anywhere
Fridge, engine bay, bilge, battery compartment, cabin, or outside. Drop it in, stick it down, or zip-tie it in place.
Reads on your Victron screen
Pair it with a Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX and the data shows up alongside your batteries and solar — with alarms and automation.
How the Victron integration works
Two ways to see your data
Pick the path that matches your setup — or run both. We're happy to help you choose.
1 · On your Victron GX
Victron's GX devices read RuuviTags directly over Bluetooth. On a Cerbo GX or the all-in-one Ekrano GX, enable Bluetooth sensors under Settings → Integrations → Bluetooth Sensors, switch on your tag (it shows up as "Ruuvi ####"), and it appears in the device list — on the screen and in the free VRM app, right next to your battery, inverter, and solar data.
You can name each sensor, set its type (Battery, Fridge, or Generic), and use temperature alarms or the GX relay for automation — for example, kicking on a fan when a compartment gets warm.
Depending on the GX model's Bluetooth, a Victron-tested USB Bluetooth adapter can improve range and reliability. Not sure what your setup needs? Just ask — we'll point you to the right one.
2 · Anywhere, via the Ruuvi Gateway
No GX, or want cloud access independent of Victron? The Ruuvi Gateway bridges your sensors to the Ruuvi Cloud over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, so you can check readings and get alerts from anywhere on the Ruuvi app or web dashboard — ideal for a boat in a slip or a cabin you leave for weeks.
Many owners run both: the GX for at-a-glance dashboards aboard, the Gateway for remote alerts when they're away.
Which RuuviTag should I buy?
Pick the right sensor for the spot
All four models pair with the Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX — the difference is what they measure and how weatherproof they are.

RuuviTag + Victron, answered
Do RuuviTags work with the Victron Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX?
Yes — all of them. Victron's GX devices read RuuviTag sensors over Bluetooth. Enable them under Settings → Integrations → Bluetooth Sensors, switch on your tag (it appears as "Ruuvi ####"), and it shows on the GX display and in the VRM app, with temperature alarms and relay automation available.
Do I need a USB Bluetooth adapter?
It depends on your GX device's built-in Bluetooth. In some setups — particularly for range or reliability — Victron recommends adding one of its tested USB Bluetooth adapters. Reach out with your setup and we'll tell you whether you need one and which to use.
Can I monitor from anywhere without a GX device?
Yes. The Ruuvi Gateway bridges your sensors to the Ruuvi Cloud over Wi-Fi or Ethernet, so you can check readings and get alerts from the Ruuvi app or web dashboard anywhere with internet. Many owners run a GX aboard and a Gateway for remote access.
How long does the battery last, and will I know when it's low?
Each sensor uses a replaceable CR2477 3V coin cell that typically lasts over a year. When it runs low, a battery warning appears on the GX Remote Console and in VRM, so you get plenty of notice before it dies.
How many sensors can I run?
Plenty for a typical rig — most boats and vans use several (inside, outside, fridge, engine bay, battery compartment). Start with the spots that matter most and add more anytime.
Which model is waterproof?
The RuuviTag Pro 2-in-1 is fully waterproof (IP68/IP69K) for bilges, fridges, and wet locations. The Pro 3-in-1 and Pro 4-in-1 are IP67 with a breathable membrane so they can still read humidity outdoors. The standard 4-in-1 is best for indoor or dry spots.
Where do I buy, and is it supported?
Right here. Blue Marine is an authorized Ruuvi reseller and a True Blue Victron distributor — every order ships brand-new with Ruuvi's 12-month warranty, free US shipping, and real help from people who run these systems.
