Victron Energy Lynx Smart BMS NG (500A & 1000A, for Lithium NG)

The Lynx Smart BMS NG is the most complete battery management system for Victron's newest Lithium NG (LiFePO₄) batteries — and it integrates with the other M10 modules in the Lynx Distribution system. Like the Smart BMS, it pairs a high-current contactor and pre-charge circuit with a built-in battery monitor and full connectivity, but it speaks the NG generation's protocol and reads cell-level voltages and temperatures.

What it does

• Built-in contactor (500 A or 1000 A) — secondary safety disconnect and remote main switch.
• Pre-charge circuit — handles the inrush of capacitive loads like inverters; no external pre-charge needed.
• Battery monitor + cell data — state of charge, voltage, current, history, and per-cell voltages/temperatures, over Bluetooth (VictronConnect) or a GX device + VRM, with Instant Readout.
• DVCC closed-loop + ATC/ATD — automatically controls compatible Victron inverter/chargers, solar chargers, and the Orion XS DC-DC charger; ATC/ATD switch other chargers/loads.
• Programmable relay, AUX terminal, and VE.Can / NMEA 2000 data communication.

Scales big, with redundancy

Build banks of up to 50 batteries (12 V / 24 V) or 25 (48 V) — up to ~192 kWh at 12 V, ~384 kWh at 24 V, and ~128 kWh at 48 V. Up to 5 Lynx Smart BMS NG units can be paralleled for a single large redundant battery system. Available in 500 A and 1000 A (both M10).
