Victron Energy Lynx Smart BMS (500A & 1000A, for Smart Lithium)

The Lynx Smart BMS is the most complete battery management system Victron makes for Victron Lithium Battery Smart (LiFePO₄) banks — and it drops straight into the Lynx Distribution system. It combines a positive busbar with a high-current contactor, a negative busbar with a built-in battery monitor (shunt), and full Bluetooth/VE.Can connectivity, so it both protects the bank and reports on it.

What it does

• Built-in contactor (500 A or 1000 A) — a secondary safety system that disconnects the battery if the primary controls (ATC/ATD/DVCC) don't, and doubles as a remote main switch.
• Pre-charge circuit — prevents the high inrush current of capacitive loads (MultiPlus/Quattro) so you don't need an external pre-charge.
• Battery monitor — state of charge, voltage, current, history, and Instant Readout, over Bluetooth (VictronConnect) or a GX device + VRM.
• DVCC closed-loop control + ATC/ATD contacts — automatically manages compatible Victron inverter/chargers and solar chargers, and switches other chargers/loads with a remote on/off port.
• Programmable relay + AUX — alarm output or alternator (regulator) control; the AUX terminal keeps a GX device powered after a low-cell-voltage shutdown.
• VE.Can / NMEA 2000 data, and Lynx Distributor fuse monitoring (up to 4 Distributors).

Scales and stays redundant

Supports up to 20 batteries per BMS (up to ~84 kWh at 12 V, ~102 kWh at 24 V / 48 V). Up to 5 Lynx Smart BMSes can be paralleled, each with its own bank, to form one large redundant battery system. Available in 500 A and 1000 A versions.
