Victron Energy Lynx Shunt VE.Can (DC Busbar with Battery Monitor & Main Fuse Holder)

The Lynx Shunt VE.Can is the monitoring-and-protection module of the Victron Lynx Distribution system. It combines a positive busbar with a holder for the main system fuse, a negative busbar with a built-in battery monitor (shunt), and VE.Can communication — so your whole bank's state of charge, voltage, and current show up on a GX device (such as a Cerbo GX) and the VRM portal. Rated for a nominal 1000 A at 12 V / 24 V / 48 V, with a power LED for status.

M8 vs M10

• M8 — takes a CNN main fuse.
• M10 — takes CNN, ANL, or MEGA fuses, and includes an extra “dummy” busbar that can replace the fuse inside the shunt so you can relocate the main fuse elsewhere — useful in larger systems needing higher-rated fuses.

The Shunt ships with two VE.Can RJ45 terminators for connecting to a GX device. The main fuse is sold separately.

Part of the Lynx Distribution system

Combine the Shunt with a Lynx Power In and Lynx Distributor to build a modular DC bus with monitoring and fusing. (For a lithium bank that needs battery management, the Lynx Smart BMS adds a contactor and BMS in the same form factor.)
