Overview
The K-1 is the motor at the heart of every Bixpy kit — sold here on its own. At 2.7 lb it produces up to 38 lb of thrust, enough to push a loaded paddleboard, kayak, or canoe at around 4–5.5 mph. Direct-drive brushless, water-cooled, and waterproof to 100 ft, with a NASA-inspired propeller that resists weed wrap.
The motor alone is the right buy in two situations: you're adding a second motor or a spare to an existing Bixpy setup, or you're building a K-Power system around a 24V battery you already own. If this is your first Bixpy, the K-1 Outboard Kit — motor, battery, and remote together — is the better starting point.

Compatibility
- Batteries: runs on the PP-384 and PP-768 Power Packs, or any standard 24V battery through the K-Power Control Module.
- Mounts: every Bixpy K-series adapter — SUP fin box adapters, kayak, transom, and pedal-drive-well mounts.
- Control: wireless remote and kill switch come with the Power Pack or K-Power module rather than the bare motor.
Care & Maintenance
Rinse after saltwater use and inspect the prop for line. The K-1 Kare Kit covers the wear parts — propeller, weed grill, bumper, and remote battery.
Warranty
Covered by Bixpy's 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship (2 years in the EU), from the date of original purchase from Blue Marine or another authorized Bixpy dealer. Made for recreational use — commercial and rental use isn't covered. As an authorized dealer we'll help with any claim.
