Overview

New for 2026, the K-Power Motor Kit answers a question we hear a lot: "I already have a good lithium battery — why buy another one?" This kit is the K-1 motor plus the K-Power Control Module, which turns virtually any standard 24V battery into a full Bixpy power system with wireless remote control and a magnetic kill switch.

If you run a 24V trolling battery on your fishing kayak, or you're the kind of Blue Marine customer with LiFePO4 to spare, this is the lowest-cost path to 38 lb of Bixpy thrust — $500 less than the standard kit because you're bringing the battery. Wire the module to your battery with the included 2-core cable, click the motor into an adapter, and pair the remote.

Compatibility & Mounting

Mounts through any Bixpy K-series adapter — SUP fin box, kayak, or transom. Battery sizing is flexible: a typical 24V 50Ah bank holds about 1,280 Wh — more than three standard Bixpy packs. Sizing cables and fusing for your bank is the kind of thing we do all day; schedule a consultation if you'd like a second set of eyes.

Warranty

Covered by Bixpy's 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship (2 years in the EU), from the date of original purchase from Blue Marine or another authorized Bixpy dealer. Made for recreational use — commercial and rental use isn't covered. As an authorized dealer we'll help with any claim.
