Victron Energy Smart BatteryProtect (12/24V & 48V, Bluetooth)

The Smart BatteryProtect disconnects non-essential loads before deep discharge can damage the battery — with Bluetooth setup via VictronConnect, and it doubles as a system on/off switch. Set custom engage/disengage voltages from your phone, or pick one of nine preset levels with the programming pin; Bluetooth can be switched off if you prefer.

Like the standard BatteryProtect it uses MOSFET switching (ignition-proof, no sparks), auto-ranges 12/24V, and adds Instant Readout — VictronConnect shows its key data and any alarms on the device list without pairing.

How it protects

• Delayed alarm (12s) so cranking won't trip it; load disconnects 90 seconds after, reconnects 30 seconds after voltage recovers
• Over-voltage protection (load disconnects above 16.3V/32.6V; above 64V on the 48V model)
• Ultra-low current draw — important for lithium banks after a low-voltage shutdown
• Special Li-ion mode for VE.Bus BMS control; can also act as a charge interrupter between a charger and a lithium battery

Manages current in one direction only (battery to load) — not for reverse current from a charger. Available 65A, 100A and 220A (12/24V), plus 100A (48V).
