Victron Energy Meters (VM-3P75CT, VM-3P5A, ET112, ET340, EM24 & EM540)

Victron Energy Meters provide accurate power and energy measurement for energy-storage and PV systems. Installed at the distribution box, they let your system minimize grid import/export and monitor PV-inverter output or AC loads. Paired with a Cerbo GX, Ekrano GX, and the VRM Portal, they give real-time data for smart energy management in residential, commercial, or industrial systems.

• VM-3P75CT — three-phase/split-phase, Ethernet + VE.Can, clip-on current transformers (max 80A/phase)
• VM-3P5A — three-phase/split-phase, Ethernet + VE.Can, for standard 5 A current transformers (not included) — 10 A to 6,000 A per phase, for larger commercial and industrial services or where CTs are already installed
• ET112 — single-phase, up to 100A, RS485
• ET340 — three-phase, up to 65A/phase, RS485
• EM540 — three-phase, up to 65A/phase, RS485
• EM24 Ethernet — three-phase, up to 65A/phase, direct Ethernet

VM-3P75CT or VM-3P5A?

Both are Victron's own three-phase meters with Ethernet and VE.Can, and both work as the grid meter in an ESS or to monitor a PV inverter or AC loads. The VM-3P75CT ships with its clip-on current transformers and covers services up to 80 A per phase — the right pick for most homes, boats, and RVs. The VM-3P5A has no CTs in the box: it takes the industry-standard 5 A secondary from whatever current transformers suit your switchboard, so it scales from 10 A to 6,000 A per phase and drops into panels that already have CTs fitted. Choose it for larger commercial and industrial installs, or wherever the CTs are already there.
