The Victron Buck-Boost DC-DC Converter is a fully programmable, high-performance charging solution designed to safely and efficiently charge 12 V or 24 V service batteries from modern vehicle alternators. Ideal for smart alternators (Euro 5/6 engines), this converter automatically steps voltage up or down to deliver a stable, correct charging profile — protecting battery life while ensuring optimal performance in RV, marine, and off-grid vehicle systems.

Unlike simple DC-DC chargers, the Buck-Boost design maintains consistent output voltage even when alternator voltage fluctuates. It also includes programmable charge parameters, making it compatible with AGM, GEL, and lithium battery chemistries.
