The Digital Multi Control 200/200A (DMC) is the wired remote panel for Victron MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/chargers — a clean, dedicated control at the helm, dashboard, or electrical panel for the two things you adjust most: turning the system on and setting how much shore or generator power it's allowed to draw.
Two connector options — choose above: the panels are functionally identical; the only difference is the cable connector. Straight RJ45 (Standard) uses a standard inline RJ45; 90° RJ45 (GX) uses a right-angle connector that exits flat behind the panel for a shallower, tidier install in tight dashboards.
What it does
- Power mode switch — turn the inverter/charger system on, off, or charger-only.
- AC input current limit knob — dial in the PowerControl / PowerAssist limit so the Multi or Quattro never trips the shore-power breaker or overloads a generator. The range follows your system automatically (e.g. up to 16 A for one unit, scaling up for units in parallel, up to 200 A), and you can preset custom limits for up to four different AC inputs — ideal for mobile setups that plug into different pedestals.
- Eight status LEDs mirror the inverter/charger's own LEDs and auto-dim in low light.
- 7-segment display shows the AC input current, the active AC source, and any VE.Bus error codes.
- Works with a single unit or multiple inverter/chargers in parallel and 2- or 3-phase systems, including generator setups with an external transfer switch.
Compatibility
Compatible with MultiCompact, MultiPlus, MultiPlus-II and MultiPlus-II GX, Quattro and Quattro-II, EasySolar and EasySolar-II GX, and legacy pre-VE.Bus Multi/MultiCompact/MultiPlus/Quattro units (2008 and earlier).
Note: the DMC connects to the inverter/charger with a single VE.Bus RJ45 (UTP) cable — which is not included, so add one to your order. Setup is usually plug-and-play with no further configuration. (Despite the “GX” in the 90° version's name, this is a control panel, not a GX communication device — for VRM/touchscreen monitoring use a Cerbo GX.)
