Choosing Your Shaft & Installing Tips
-
Short Shaft (24.6 in): best for lower transoms (approx. 15–17 in height) on smaller boats.
-
Long Shaft (29.7 in): suits higher transoms (approx. 18–22 in) or deeper-installed motors.
-
Measure transom height — from the top edge of the transom down to the bottom edge of your hull.
-
Mount centrally and align carefully — ensure the propeller remains fully submerged under load and doesn’t cavitate near surface.
-
Use marine-grade mounting hardware, torque nuts to spec, and inspect regularly.
Why Choose the Cruise 3.0 T?
-
Seamless helm integration — uses standard remote throttle instead of tiller controls
-
Clean and quiet cruising — zero emissions, minimal vibration, and whisper-quiet operation
-
Smart and connected — real-time data via on-motor computer
-
Energy-efficient and modular — compatible with Torqeedo’s battery ecosystem
