Choosing Your Shaft & Installing Tips

• Short Shaft (24.6 in): best for lower transoms (approx. 15–17 in height) on smaller boats.

• Long Shaft (29.7 in): suits higher transoms (approx. 18–22 in) or deeper-installed motors.

• Measure transom height — from the top edge of the transom down to the bottom edge of your hull.

• Mount centrally and align carefully — ensure the propeller remains fully submerged under load and doesn’t cavitate near surface.

• Use marine-grade mounting hardware, torque nuts to spec, and inspect regularly.
