How to Measure Your Transom & Confirm Fit

The TEMO 450 is a long, lightweight unit that mounts with its included removable oarlock fitting (or directly on a transom), so it fits a wide range of small craft. To check fit, measure your transom or mounting-point height — the vertical distance from the top of the transom or gunwale (where the motor mounts) down to the waterline at the hull.

Its long-pole design (about 4.4–5 ft / 1.35–1.5 m overall) lets the propeller reach the water on most dinghies, tenders, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards, and it runs in water as shallow as about 7 inches. For deep-freeboard or unusually high-transom boats, contact us to confirm the motor will reach sufficient depth before ordering.
