Warranty Information

Torqeedo warrants that the Product will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal usage and proper installation and maintenance for a period of twenty-four (24) months from date of delivery. Any warranty claim must be made within six (6) months of discovery of the non-conformity as provided below. Normal wear and tear and routine servicing are excluded from the warranty.

We offer free shipping over $49. Lithium batteries & oversize items may have an applicable shipping charge.

We know returns are no fun so we aim to make the return process as hassle free as possible! We have a 60-day return policy, which means you have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Lithium batteries and products with lithium batteries inside are non returnable: Due to carrier regulations surrounding the shipment of lithium batteries (classified as a fully regulated hazardous material), we are unable to accept returns unless arranged locally. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to contact us with any questions prior to purchase.

Torqeedo XP Charger

My thanks to Blue Marine for replacing the defective battery charger which came the Xp motor, but the fact that the battery failed on its third use is not a good sign.

In order to avoid being stranded withour a charger I felt obliged to may a second as a back up.

I have both the Torqeedo XP and an ePropulsion 3.5 hp. I get much better mileage from the ePro on my Capri 22. The battery on the Torqeedo runs out very quicky (I have two and they both drain like an egg timer). The extra power does not compensate for the short working time of the batteries. The only things good about them are the fact that the batteries snap in, and the motor articulates to 90 degrees.
I am now going to sell the Torqueedo and buy a large 48 volt battery for the ePro.
