Victron Temperature Sensor for BMV-702, BMV-712 & SmartShunt

Adds battery temperature to your battery monitor. This temperature sensor connects to a BMV-702, BMV-712, or SmartShunt battery monitor so it can read and display battery temperature alongside voltage, current, and state of charge. It wires to the battery and to the monitor's auxiliary input.

• What it does. Measures battery temperature and reports it to your monitor for display, alarms, and logging.
• Works with the BMV-702, BMV-712, and SmartShunt. These monitors share the auxiliary input this sensor uses — set the monitor's aux input to temperature in the settings. It also works with the VE.Bus Smart Dongle. The BMV-700 has no auxiliary input, so it can't take this sensor.
• Temperature alarms. Lets the monitor warn you if the battery runs hotter or colder than you'd like.
• Smart charging bonus. On a BMV-712 or SmartShunt, the temperature reading can be shared with compatible Victron chargers over VE.Smart Networking for temperature-compensated charging.
• Simple two-point wiring. Connects to the battery positive and the monitor's aux terminal.
