60-day hassle-free returns
The Skylla‑IP65 delivers lab‑grade charging in a rugged, corrosion‑resistant enclosure that shrugs off heat, humidity, and salt air. Its 7‑stage adaptive algorithm charges fast, protects your batteries, and extends service life—charging lead-acid, AGM/Gel banks and LiFePO₄ batteries, with VE.Can (NMEA 2000) networking for full system integration.
Why boat owners choose Skylla‑IP65
Serious power, compact form: Available in 12 V / 70 A and 24 V / 35 A, each in a (1+1) or (3) output configuration.
Flexible multi‑bank charging: Choose (1+1) — a full-rated house output plus an isolated 3 A starter-battery trickle — or (3), three isolated outputs that share the charger's full rated current (combined output up to 70 A at 12 V / 35 A at 24 V), intelligently distributed across the connected banks.
Marine‑proof build: IP65 steel chassis (blue RAL 5012) with epoxy powder-coat, acrylic-coated PCBs, and forced-air cooling for reliability in harsh environments.
Smarter battery care: 7‑stage adaptive charging with BatterySafe and Storage modes, plus temperature compensation and remote voltage sense for precise regulation right at the battery.
Lithium‑ready: Dedicated 3-stage LiFePO₄ profile with simple BMS on/off via the remote port — or full voltage/current control over VE.Can.
Network & scale: VE.Can (NMEA 2000) interface for GX/system integration and synchronised parallel operation (interconnect chargers with RJ45 UTP cables) when you need more current.
At‑a‑glance control: Front-panel LCD for status monitoring and quick setup.
Universal shore power: 90–265 VAC, 45–65 Hz with power-factor correction — ideal for global cruising and small gensets.
Power supply mode: Works as a stabilized DC power supply when batteries are offline.
Integration‑ready: Alarm relay and remote on/off for advanced systems.
Technical snapshot
Charge algorithm: 7-stage adaptive (lead-acid) + 3-stage LiFePO₄
Outputs: (1+1) = 1 × full-rated + 3 A isolated starter; (3) = 3 × isolated outputs sharing the full rated current (70 A total at 12 V / 35 A total at 24 V)
Charge voltages: absorption 14.4 V / 28.8 V, float 13.8 V / 27.6 V, storage 13.2 V / 26.4 V
Recommended bank size: ~350–700 Ah (12 V), 150–350 Ah (24 V)
AC input: 90–265 VAC, 45–65 Hz; PF ≈ 0.98 (≈12 A max @ 100 VAC)
Operating temp: −4 to 140 °F (full output up to 104 °F; output reduces to 60% at 122 °F and 40% at 140 °F)
Protection: reverse-polarity (fuse), output short-circuit, over-temperature
Interfaces: VE.Can (NMEA 2000) — two RJ45 connectors, remote on/off, alarm relay (DPST, 240 VAC/4 A); LCD display
Sensing: battery temperature sensor (included) + voltage-sense leads
Connections & build: DC posts with M6 bolts; AC screw-clamp up to 6 mm² (AWG 10); IP65 steel enclosure
Size & weight: 16 × 10.5 × 6 in (401 × 265 × 151 mm), 13.2 lb (6 kg)
Warranty: 5-year manufacturer's warranty

Installation notes
Mount in a ventilated area to support forced cooling and allow for thermal derating in hot engine rooms. Use appropriately sized cabling and fusing, and land the voltage-sense leads at the battery terminals for best accuracy. For lithium banks, wire BMS control to the remote on/off or manage over VE.Can, and program charge parameters to your battery maker's spec.
Blue Marine tip: Pair the Skylla-IP65 with a Victron GX device (over VE.Can) for seamless system integration, and add a SmartShunt or BMV-712 for accurate state-of-charge and Bluetooth monitoring — an ideal foundation for lithium conversions and hybrid shore/generator setups.
