Victron Energy Measurement Shunt (500A–6000A, 50mV)
Free shipping over $49
60-day hassle-free returns
A bare precision current-measurement shunt — the same component that ships inside Victron BMV battery monitors, without the quick-connect circuit board or Bluetooth electronics. A shunt is a calibrated low-resistance bar that drops exactly 50 mV at its rated current, so any compatible meter or battery monitor can read current by measuring that millivolt signal.
Use it as a replacement shunt, a spare, or as the high-current measuring element for a custom monitoring setup. The 1000 A, 2000 A, and 6000 A versions also accept the quick-connect PCB from a standard Victron 500 A shunt, so you can scale a BMV monitor or SmartShunt well beyond its included 500 A shunt.
- Rated at 50 mV output across the full range — 500 A, 1000 A, 2000 A, and 6000 A
- 1000 A, 2000 A, and 6000 A are Class 0.5 accuracy with multiple M10 studs per side for high-current cabling
- 1000 A, 2000 A, and 6000 A accept the Victron 500 A quick-connect PCB — scale a BMV or SmartShunt to higher currents
- No electronics, no Bluetooth — pair with a BMV monitor, SmartShunt, or any 50 mV-compatible meter
- Ideal for large inverters, thrusters, traction packs, and high-current off-grid banks
Not sure which rating you need? Size the shunt above your worst-case continuous current. Get a custom quote or call (800) 628-6306.
