The Orion-Tr Isolated DC-DC Charger Remote Cable solves a specific wiring problem. On the Orion-Tr Smart isolated DC-DC charger, the built-in remote on/off circuit is referenced to the primary (starter) battery. This cable lets you instead drive that remote on/off from a signal referenced to the secondary (auxiliary) battery — most commonly the dry-contact or remote output of a lithium battery's BMS — so the BMS can safely start and stop charging.

It's short-circuit proof, with a maximum input voltage of 35 V and maximum output voltage of 70 V; it needs roughly 4 V to pull the remote line down and draws about 30 mA maximum. Designed for use with the Orion-Tr Smart Isolated DC-DC charger. Backed by Victron's 5-year warranty; Blue Marine is an authorized Victron Energy dealer.
