The Victron MultiPlus is an advanced power solution that combines a true sine wave inverter and charger in one package. Its features allow you to save on energy costs with its hybrid PowerAssist technology and adaptive charging, while maintaining system integration. Enjoy reliable power and energy savings with the Victron MultiPlus.
Unique Power Assist Feature - The MultiPlus safeguards against overload of a restricted AC power source, such as a generator or shore connection. This is achieved by first automatically moderating battery charging and then, if an overload still occurs, the unit will compensate by amplifying the output from the generator or shore with energy drawn from the battery.
Uninterrupted AC Power - When shore/grid/generator power is cut off, the MultiPlus' internal inverter engages within 20 milliseconds, guaranteeing that connected devices remain operational uninterrupted.
Parallel Operation - Up to 6 units of the MultiPlus can be used in parallel to provide greater power yields. Three phase and split phase operation are both supported by select models; refer to the datasheets to confirm.
Remote Monitoring and Control - When paired with a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX), you can access, monitor, and control your Multi and system(s) using the free VRM app and VRM portal website. Access is available from anywhere in the world, whether a phone, tablet, laptop, or PC, for multiple operating systems. You can adjust your Multi settings or even automatically start a backup generator, and much more.
Hello, new Sprinter 2500 2019 van build; is this Inverter charger 12/2000/80-50 appropriate for a basic use system.? I will start with only one batter, and use shore power most often when it is set up. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Janice PORT ANGELES, WA
Hi Janice, what kind of 110V loads do you want to be able to handle when you are on battery? Kettle, coffee brewer? If your loads are pretty light, then the 12/2000/80-50 will work just fine. It will charge your battery when connected to shore power and then allow you to draw up to 2000 watts of AC-110 when on battery. You may want to consider a 12/3000 multiplus if you think you will expand your batteries and want a little additional 110v power down the road. I hope this helps.
