Multifunctional with Intelligent Power Management
The MultiPlus combines several key functions into one compact unit: a robust true sine wave inverter, an advanced battery charger with adaptive charge technology, and a high-speed AC transfer switch. Additionally, it features several sophisticated options, detailed below.

Parallel Operation and Three-Phase Capability
You can connect up to six MultiPlus units in parallel to increase power output. For three-phase applications, you can set up three units to deliver a three-phase output.

PowerControl
With the Multi Control Panel, you can set the maximum current for your generator or shore power. The MultiPlus will manage additional AC loads and use any extra capacity for battery charging, ensuring you don't overload the generator or shore power supply.

PowerAssist
PowerAssist builds on PowerControl by allowing the MultiPlus to boost the capacity of your power source. It supplements limited shore or generator power with battery power when needed, then recharges the battery when the load decreases.

Four-Stage Adaptive Charger and Dual Battery Charging
The MultiPlus’s primary output delivers a strong charge to your battery using advanced adaptive charge technology. This technology customizes the charging process in three stages, with an additional fourth stage for prolonged float charging. It also includes a separate trickle charge output for charging a second battery, such as one for an engine or generator starter.

High Start-Up Power
This feature provides the extra power needed to start devices with high inrush currents, like LED and halogen lamps or electric tools.

Search Mode
In Search Mode, the inverter’s power consumption is reduced by approximately 70% during no-load conditions. The MultiPlus turns off when there’s no or minimal load and turns on briefly every two seconds. If the output current exceeds a preset level, the inverter continues to operate; otherwise, it shuts down again.

Programmable Relay
The programmable relay, by default, acts as an alarm relay. It de-energizes in case of an alarm or a pre-alarm, such as when the inverter is nearly overheating, there is ripple on the input, or the battery voltage is critically low.

On-Site System Configuration, Monitoring, and Control
Once installed, the MultiPlus is ready for use. Some settings can be adjusted using DIP switches. For models with 500/800/1200 VA: settings include remote switch, battery charge voltage, inverter frequency, and search mode. For models with 1600/2000 VA: settings include battery charge voltage and search mode. For more advanced configuration, use VE-Config or the VE.Bus Smart dongle.

Remote Configuration and Monitoring
Connect a Cerbo GX or another GX device to the internet to remotely access and manage the system. Operational data can be stored and viewed on our VRM (Victron Remote Management) website at no cost. This setup allows for remote monitoring and adjustments of system settings.
