Compact DC circuit protection for branch and mid-current circuits
Victron's MIDI fuses deliver reliable bolt-down overcurrent protection in a smaller footprint than the MEGA-Fuse — the right choice for branch circuits like solar charge controllers, DC-DC chargers, windlasses, and distribution feeds in marine, RV, and off-grid systems. They use M6 studs and are available from 30A to 200A in 32V and 58V DC ratings, as single pieces or 5-packs.
Key features
- Compact, space-saving bolt-down design with M6 terminals
- 30A–200A ratings for mid-current branch and feeder circuits
- 32V versions for 12V/24V systems; 58V versions for 48V systems
- Available as singles or money-saving 5-packs for spares
Choosing the right MIDI fuse
- Pick an amperage that matches or slightly exceeds the circuit's maximum continuous current — a common rule is 1.25 to 1.5 times the device's full-load current.
- Make sure the fuse's voltage rating is equal to or higher than your system voltage: 32V for 12V and 24V banks, 58V for 48V banks.
- Confirm your wire is rated for at least the fuse amperage you select.
MIDI fuses seat in the Victron Fuse Holder for MIDI Fuse. For higher-current main circuits (battery-to-inverter feeds), step up to the Victron MEGA-Fuse.
