An isolated VE.Bus-to-RS232 link for serial-based configuration. The MK2.2b connects a Victron VE.Bus device to a computer or PLC through an RS232 serial port — the serial counterpart to the USB MK-series interfaces. It's typically used in industrial, OEM, and data-communication setups where RS232 is the host connection.
- What it does. Bridges a VE.Bus port to an RS232 (DB9 serial) port for configuration and data communication.
- Galvanically isolated. Keeps the host serial side electrically separated from the DC system.
- No serial port on your computer? Add the RS232-to-USB converter to use it on a modern laptop.
- For straightforward USB setup, consider the MK3-USB instead. Most installers configuring a VE.Bus inverter/charger from a laptop use the MK3-USB; the MK2.2b is for RS232/PLC and OEM workflows.
