The Orion 110V isolated DC-DC converter steps a high-voltage DC supply down to a stable, regulated low-voltage output — safely and with full galvanic isolation. It accepts a wide 60–140 VDC input (110 V nominal), making it the right module for powering 12 V or 24 V loads from a high-voltage DC bus or battery bank — control electronics, lighting, communications gear, or auxiliary circuits in industrial, EV, telecom, and large marine systems.
This is a voltage converter, not a battery charger. It delivers a stable regulated output to run loads; it has no battery-charge algorithm. For DC-DC battery charging, see Victron's Orion-Tr Smart and Orion XS chargers.
High-voltage isolation done right
The converter provides more than 400 Vrms of galvanic isolation between input, output, and case — essential when you're tapping a high-voltage DC system to feed low-voltage electronics. That isolation breaks ground loops and keeps the sensitive low-voltage side electrically separated from the high-voltage source.
Two output models, 360 W each
Choose the output your system needs — both deliver up to 360 W of continuous, regulated power at roughly 85% efficiency, with tight regulation (2% stability, 3% tolerance) and low output noise (< 50 mV rms). A temperature-controlled fan keeps the unit cool under load, and a full protection set covers overcurrent, overheating, reverse-polarity, overvoltage, and short circuit, plus an input fuse, reverse-connected diode, and a varistor that also guards against alternator load dump.

Rugged, simple build
The converter is housed in an anodised aluminium case with 6.3 mm push-on flat-blade connectors for quick wiring. It weighs 1.4 kg (3.1 lb) and measures 82 × 132 × 190 mm. It runs at full output up to +40 °C and derates linearly to 0 A at 70 °C, so give it a ventilated mounting location.
