Victron Energy Argofet Battery Isolator (100A & 200A, 2 or 3 Batteries)

Victron Argofet Battery Isolators charge two or three battery banks from a single alternator or charger with almost no voltage loss. Like a diode isolator, the banks stay isolated so a flat house bank can't drain your start battery — but because the Argofet uses FETs instead of diodes, the voltage drop is only about 0.02V at low current and ~0.1V at higher currents.

With so little drop, there's no need to raise the alternator's output voltage. Just keep the cable runs short and of adequate cross-section to avoid losses in the wiring itself.

• Built-in alternator energize input — a current-limited feed that powers B+ when the engine run/stop switch is closed, for alternators that need DC on B+ to start charging
