How to Measure Your Transom Height & Confirm Fit

This outboard ships in a single Short (S) shaft length, so it is important to confirm your transom suits it. Measure straight down from the top of the transom (where the motor clamps) to the lowest point of the hull/keel at the centerline. The Travel XS S is built around a 62.5 cm (24.6 in) shaft, ideal for transoms of about 15 in (38 cm). If your transom is much deeper than that (toward 20 in / 51 cm), a Long-shaft Travel model is the better choice to avoid the propeller running too high and ventilating.

Normal wear and routine servicing are excluded, and claims must be made within 6 months of discovering the issue.
