The Torqeedo Cruise 3.0 FP is a fixed-position (FP) pod drive that delivers the propulsion of a 6 HP gasoline engine without the noise, fumes, or maintenance. Rather than clamping to a transom, the pod mounts through the hull in a fixed under-hull position — a streamlined, low-drag installation that keeps the motor permanently submerged and out of sight, ideal for sailboats where clean lines and minimal drag under sail matter most.
An onboard computer with GPS provides real-time calculations of speed, power draw, battery state, and remaining range, so you always know how far you can go. The corrosion-resistant construction is built for long service life in fresh and saltwater alike.

Mounting & Boat Fit
Unlike a transom-mounted outboard, the Cruise 3.0 FP is installed in a fixed pod through the hull, so there is no shaft-length or transom-height selection. Fitment is determined by your hull's pod-mounting location and the available space below the waterline. The fixed-pod layout is best suited to sailboats and displacement craft up to roughly 3 tons where a permanent, low-drag drive is preferred over a removable outboard. Lithium batteries and products with lithium batteries inside are non returnable: Due to carrier regulations surrounding the shipment of lithium batteries (classified as a fully regulated hazardous material), we are unable to accept returns unless arranged locally.
