The Cruise 12.0 FP TorqLink is a high-performance fixed-pod electric drive delivering the equivalent of a 25 HP petrol saildrive. This 48 V, 12 kW input (6.72 kW propulsive) system brings strong thrust, intelligent integration, and electric-drive simplicity to serious marine installations. Rather than clamping to a transom, the streamlined pod mounts in a fixed position under the hull — a low-drag layout that keeps the drive submerged and out of the way, with the clean lines sailors prize. Equipped with the TorqLink data interface, a GPS onboard computer, and lithium-battery and hydrogeneration support, it's an ideal repower choice for larger vessels.

Mounting & Boat Fit

Unlike a transom-mounted outboard, the Cruise 12.0 FP installs in a fixed pod through the hull, so there is no shaft-length or transom-height selection. Fitment is determined by your hull's pod-mounting location and the space available below the waterline. The fixed-pod layout suits sailboats and displacement motorboats up to roughly 12 tons where a permanent, low-drag drive is preferred. Ensure the vessel's displacement is within range and that propeller matching and rigging are correct for your installation. • For full output, pair two Power 48-5000 lithium battery packs; output reduces to ~6 kW on a single battery.
• Use a compatible TorqLink throttle (color display recommended) for full system monitoring.
• Optional higher-efficiency or folding propellers (e.g., v22/p10k, v32/p10k, or folding prop 1945-00) can reduce drag under sail.
• The fixed-pod design minimizes hull footprint and added drag while sailing.

Warranty

Covered by Torqeedo's 24-month limited warranty from date of delivery against defects in workmanship and materials under normal recreational use with proper installation and maintenance. Normal wear and routine servicing are excluded, and claims must be made within 6 months of discovering the issue.
