60-day hassle-free returns
The Torqeedo Cruise 10.0 T is one of Torqeedo's most powerful electric outboards, delivering the propulsion of a 20 HP gasoline engine with quiet operation, instant torque, and virtually no maintenance. Designed for sailboats, cruisers, and workboats up to around 10 tons, it provides strong acceleration, long service life, and seamless system integration through TorqLink. A GPS-enabled onboard computer continuously displays speed, power draw, state of charge, and remaining range for confident trip planning, while the integrated tiller keeps throttle and data right where your hand already is.
Key Features
- 12 kW peak / 10 kW continuous power — the propulsive equivalent of a 20 HP gas outboard.
- 48 V system simplifies wiring and installation.
- Heavy-duty tiller with electric tilt/trim and 4-step manual trim.
- Fully sealed IP67 housing — saltwater-ready and submersible to 3.3 ft.
- GPS onboard computer with real-time range and speed.
- TorqLink connectivity with live data via the TorqView app on your phone.
- Ideal for vessels up to ~10 tons displacement.
How to Measure Your Transom Height & Choose Your Shaft Length
Picking the right shaft length is the single most important fitment decision on any outboard. It comes down to your boat's transom height — if the shaft is too short the propeller ventilates (sucks air) and loses thrust; too long and it adds unnecessary drag.
- Measure your transom height. With the boat level, measure straight down from the top of the transom (where the motor clamps) to the bottom of the hull at the centerline.
- Match it to the shaft option. The Cruise 10.0 T offers three shaft lengths: Short (S) for transoms up to about 15 in (38 cm), Long (L) for transoms up to about 20 in (51 cm), and XL for transoms up to about 25 in (64 cm).
- When you're between sizes, size up. A slightly long shaft runs fine; a too-short shaft will cavitate.
| Shaft option | Fits transom up to |
|---|---|
| Short (S) | ~15 in (38 cm) |
| Long (L) | ~20 in (51 cm) |
| XL | ~25 in (64 cm) |
