The Victron Orion Non-Isolated High-Power DC-DC Converter series is a professional solution for stepping voltage up or down between common DC battery systems such as 12V, 24V and 48V. Designed for marine, RV, commercial vehicle, and industrial applications, these converters provide stable, high-current DC power for loads and auxiliary battery charging where galvanic isolation is not required.
Built for demanding installations, Orion high-power converters offer excellent efficiency, robust thermal performance, and continuous-duty operation. Many models feature adjustable output voltage, allowing them to function not only as a regulated power supply but also as a battery charger in dual-battery systems. This makes them ideal for charging a 12V service battery from a 24V or 48V system, or boosting 12V to 24V for specific loads.
A remote on/off terminal simplifies installation by eliminating the need for a high-current input switch and allows integration with ignition signals or system controls. For larger systems, up to five units can be connected in parallel to increase total output capacity.
