ePropulsion X20 — 20 kW, 96V Electric Outboard

The X20 steps ePropulsion's next-generation X-Series up to 20 kW — clean, quiet power for larger RIBs, day boats, and small cruisers. Like the rest of the range it integrates electric steering, power trim & tilt, and hydrogeneration into one plug-and-play unit, driven by a unified smart throttle and display.

One connected system — eSSA

The X20 runs on ePropulsion's eSSA architecture. Complete the system with a 96V G-Series battery (G102-100 or G102-230), a G-Series charger or the 2 kW MPPT solar charge controller, and your choice of Smart control — Tiller, Throttle, Side-Mount, or a 5″ / 10″ Display. Our advisors will size battery, charging, and controls with you.

You also need a 12V battery. Beyond the 96V propulsion pack, the X-Series uses a separate 12V supply for its controls, display, trim/tilt, steering, and electronics. An included 96V→12V DC-DC converter (500W) keeps it charged from the propulsion pack. The 12V battery is not included and should provide at least 120 Ah / 120 A continuous — we'll spec it with the rest of your system.

Choosing your shaft length

The Long shaft (20 in) suits most transoms; choose the XL (25 in) for taller transoms or where extra immersion helps. The right mounting height avoids cavitation (too high) and drag (too low) — when in doubt, we'll confirm it with you.

To complete the system you'll add a 96V G-Series battery, a 12V battery (≥120 Ah/120 A), a charger, and your chosen control/display.

Warranty

Covered by ePropulsion's 24-month limited warranty (from delivery to the first end customer) against defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use with proper installation and maintenance. Commercial or professional use is covered by your local statutory warranty instead. Blue Marine is an authorized ePropulsion dealer and will help with any claim.
