These DC-DC converters step the 96-volt ePropulsion eSSA propulsion voltage down to a usable house voltage — powering 12V, 24V, or 48V equipment (and the system's required 12V control battery) straight from the propulsion bank, so you don't need a separate house battery system. Choose the model that matches what you need to run.
Two jobs, four models
- 96V→12V 500W (A1-DC00-02) — the standard, fully isolated converter that keeps the eSSA system's 12V control battery charged from the propulsion pack. Compact, high-efficiency, IP67-sealed, with complete input-to-output electrical isolation for safety. It also powers general 12V loads or charges a 12V battery, and runs automatically on connection (no configuration).
- 96V→12V / 24V / 48V high-current (PC-DC01/02/03) — higher-output converters for running larger 12V, 24V, or 48V house loads directly from the 96V busbar, with built-in overcurrent and over-temperature protection.
Built-in protection
The 500W isolated unit includes input under-voltage (prevents battery over-discharge), output short-circuit (hiccup mode), output current-limit, and over-temperature protection. The high-current PC-DC models include overcurrent and over-temperature protection.

Which one do I need?
Nearly every eSSA install needs the 96V→12V 500W (A1-DC00-02) — it's what charges the 12V control battery that runs the motor's controls, display, and electronics (it's referenced on the X-Series, I-Series, and POD product pages). Add a high-current PC-DC converter when you also want to power substantial 12V, 24V, or 48V house loads from the propulsion bank. Not sure which? We'll work it out with you.
Warranty
Covered by ePropulsion's 24-month limited warranty (from delivery to the first end customer) against defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use with proper installation and maintenance. Commercial or professional use is covered by your local statutory warranty instead. Blue Marine is an authorized ePropulsion dealer and will help with any claim.
