This 6 kW inverter turns the 96-volt ePropulsion eSSA propulsion battery into clean 230V AC for the boat's onboard systems — so a single high-voltage bank can run both the motor and your AC loads. It delivers a stable, low-distortion supply (THD ≤ 5%, selectable 50/60 Hz) with comprehensive built-in protection, in a rugged IP56 enclosure built for the marine environment.
What it does
- Runs AC loads from the eSSA bank — up to 6 kW of 230V AC from the 96V propulsion battery, no separate generator needed.
- Clean, stable output — 230 V ±2%, 50 or 60 Hz (±0.5%), total harmonic distortion ≤5% on linear loads.
- Comprehensive protection — under-/over-voltage, overload, short-circuit, and over-temperature protection with thermal sensing; output shuts down safely on a fault and recovers automatically where applicable.
- Marine-tough — IP56 enclosure and a wide −22 to 185°F operating range.

Where it fits
An installer-grade component for larger eSSA builds that want to power onboard 230V AC equipment directly from the propulsion bank. It pairs naturally with the 220VAC Distribution Box (to split and protect the AC circuits) and the eSSA battery system. Note: requires reliable grounding, and parallel operation is not supported — size a single unit to your peak AC load.
Warranty
Covered by ePropulsion's 24-month limited warranty (from delivery to the first end customer) against defects in materials and workmanship under normal recreational use with proper installation and maintenance. Commercial or professional use is covered by your local statutory warranty instead. Blue Marine is an authorized ePropulsion dealer and will help with any claim.

We offer free shipping over $49. Lithium batteries & oversize items may have an applicable shipping charge.
We know returns are no fun so we aim to make the return process as hassle free as possible! We have a 60-day return policy, which means you have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Lithium batteries and products with lithium batteries inside are non returnable: Due to carrier regulations surrounding the shipment of lithium batteries (classified as a fully regulated hazardous material), we are unable to accept returns unless arranged locally.
