I have an air stream and the roof is curved a little left to right. So I decided to mount the brackets lengthwise down the trailer to try and accommodate the roof curve, but it wasn't enough. So I increased the angle between the bracket foot and side plate by placing the angle over a 1 inch steel pipe and gently pounding on the bend with a dead blow hammer until the angle matched the roof. It worked great. I also had to add a hole on each of the small ears to attach the panel because the provided panel mounting hole would not allow the panel to be removed for service unless the sealant and entire bracket was removed because the bolt and nut were on the bottom of the panel. The supplier should at least add the additional holes in the ears in my opinion.
