Dealer Program Terms & Conditions

These terms cover Blue Marine's dealer program. Applying for a dealer account — or ordering through one — means you're agreeing to them. We've kept the legalese to a minimum; if anything here is unclear, call us at (800) 628-6306 and a real person will explain it.
1. The program
The Blue Marine dealer program is for businesses that sell or install the equipment we carry: marine service and installation shops, RV upfitters and van builders, off-grid and solar installers, retailers, and boat builders/OEMs. Every application is reviewed by a person, usually within 2 business days. Approval — and continued participation — is at Blue Marine's discretion.
2. Dealer pricing
Once approved, dealer pricing applies automatically when you're logged in with your dealer account — no codes, no special links. Dealer discounts apply to Victron Energy, solar panels, Ruuvi, and Epoch batteries. Electric motors (ePropulsion, Torqeedo, TEMO) and everything else in the store are available to dealers at standard pricing. Current discount levels are confirmed in your welcome email and visible on the site when you're logged in.
Dealer pricing can't be combined with retail promotions, discount codes, or retail free-shipping offers. Discount levels and brand coverage can change; we'll give you notice when they do.
3. Ordering & payment
Order directly at bluemarine.com through your dealer login — add to cart and check out with a credit card, same as retail. All dealer orders are paid by card at checkout. Any other payment arrangement only applies if we've agreed to it with your company in writing.
4. Shipping
Dealer orders ship as follows (continental US):
- Parcel: calculated carrier rates at checkout. Hazmat items (lithium batteries and similar) carry a $9 hazmat handling fee per shipment.
- Freight: flat $350 per freight shipment. Add $99 if you need a lift gate. Hazmat freight is $359 ($458 with lift gate).
- Outside the continental US (Alaska, Hawaii, PR, territories, international): quoted per order — you'll see "Quote to Follow" at checkout and we'll contact you with the rate before anything ships.
Retail free-shipping offers do not apply to dealer orders.
5. Sales tax & resale certificates
We collect sales tax where the law requires it unless your account has a valid resale or tax-exemption certificate on file. Upload your certificate with your application or send it to us anytime — we'll verify it and set your account tax-exempt. Keeping certificates current is your responsibility; if one expires, tax applies until we have a valid replacement.
6. Advertising & MAP
Several manufacturers we carry — including Victron Energy — maintain minimum advertised price (MAP) and advertising policies. As a dealer, you agree to follow each manufacturer's published policies when advertising or reselling their products. Repeated MAP violations are grounds for removal from the program.
7. Warranty & returns
All products carry their manufacturer's warranty, and our ABYC-certified advisors will help you spec, troubleshoot, and process warranty claims — that support is a core part of the program. Returns follow our published return policy.
8. Your account
Keep your company details — contacts, addresses, certificates — current. Dealer accounts are for your business; don't share login access outside your company. Either of us can end program participation at any time; orders already placed are unaffected.
