The Victron AGM Telecom battery is a heavy-duty, deep-cycle AGM with front-access terminals and a tall, narrow footprint. Designed for telecom racks, that same shape makes it an excellent space-saver in tight marine and vehicle installs - it slides into narrow lockers and stands where a standard wide battery won't fit, with the terminals reachable from the front. Sealed, maintenance-free, and a true drop-in (no BMS).

Front-access terminals, narrow footprint
Terminals are on the front face and the case is tall and slim, so the battery racks neatly and is easy to service in a confined space - a genuine floor-space saver on board.
Very high current capability
Low internal resistance gives strong charge and discharge performance, with cold-cranking amps up to 1,800 A and short-circuit current up to 6,000 A on the 200 Ah.
Long float and cycle life
12-year float design life at 20 C, plus a solid cycle life (over 500 cycles at 50% DoD) for standby and moderate cycling use.
Sealed and maintenance-free
VRLA AGM construction with low self-discharge (under 2% per month at 20 C) - no watering, no routine maintenance.

Why would I use a telecom battery on a boat or RV?
The front-access terminals and tall, narrow case fit spaces a standard wide battery can't - and you can reach the terminals without pulling the battery out. They're a popular choice when locker space is tight.
Does it need a BMS?
No. It's a drop-in lead-acid battery - just charge it with the correct AGM profile.
Can it handle high starting loads?
Yes. Low internal resistance and high cold-cranking and short-circuit current make it well suited to engine starting and large inverter surge loads.

We offer free shipping over $49. Lithium batteries & oversize items may have an applicable shipping charge.
We know returns are no fun so we aim to make the return process as hassle free as possible! We have a 60-day return policy, which means you have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Lithium batteries and products with lithium batteries inside are non returnable: Due to carrier regulations surrounding the shipment of lithium batteries (classified as a fully regulated hazardous material), we are unable to accept returns unless arranged locally.
