Lithium batteries & products containing lithium batteries are non returnable
The ePropulsion eLite is one of the most compact and lightweight electric outboards in its class — an ideal clean, quiet alternative to a small gas motor for dinghies, tenders, and small boats. With a nominal 500 W and up to 750 W in sport mode, an integrated 378 Wh lithium battery, and a motor weight of just 14.7 lbs, it is genuinely effortless to carry, mount, and stow.
The included 100–240 V AC charger (with an optional 12 V charger available) makes recharging easy on land or aboard, and Bluetooth app connectivity lets you keep an eye on battery and range. A telescoping shaft adjusts to four positions, so a single motor fits a wide range of transom heights.
Key Features
- 1.5 HP-class electric power — 500 W nominal, 750 W in sport mode, for clean, quiet propulsion.
- Integrated 378 Wh lithium battery — streamlined, all-in-one design with included 100–240 V AC charger.
- Ultra-light & portable — 14.7 lbs motor weight (17.4 lbs with bracket); compact 11.7 in x 3 in x 35 in.
- Telescoping shaft — four adjustable positions per shaft version to match your transom.
- Wide steering & trim range — ±70° steering; trim 8° / 17° / 26°; 75° tilt; 36° shallow-water mode.
- App connectivity — Bluetooth monitoring of battery and range; operating range 23°F to 131°F.
How to Measure Your Transom Height & Choose Your Shaft Length
Picking the right shaft length is the single most important fitment decision on any outboard. It comes down to your boat's transom height — if the shaft is too short the propeller ventilates (sucks air) and loses thrust; too long and it adds unnecessary drag.
Measure your transom height. With the boat level, measure straight down from the top of the transom (where the motor clamps) to the bottom of the hull at the centerline.
Match it to the shaft. The eLite uses a telescoping shaft with four positions. The Short shaft adjusts across 11.1, 12.7, 14.27, and 15.8 in, suiting transoms up to about 15.8 in (40 cm). The Long shaft adjusts across 17.0, 18.6, 20.2, and 21.7 in, suiting transoms up to about 21.7 in (55 cm).
When you're between sizes, size up. A slightly long shaft runs fine; a too-short shaft will cavitate.
| Shaft option | Adjustable positions | Fits transom up to |
|---|---|---|
| Short | 11.1 / 12.7 / 14.27 / 15.8 in | ~15.8 in (40 cm) |
| Long | 17.0 / 18.6 / 20.2 / 21.7 in | ~21.7 in (55 cm) |
