The Torqeedo Power 48-5000 Lithium Battery 44.4V stands out from other batteries due to its use of automotive technology and BMW i battery modules, allowing it to surpass industry standards with its impressive energy density, extended lifespan, ISO compliance, and affordability. With a 5,000 Wh capacity and rated voltage of 44.4 V, this high-performance battery offers 70% more energy density and 50% longer cycle life than standard lithium LiFePO4 batteries.
The included battery management system provides all-in-one protection against various hazards such as overcharging, short circuiting, deep discharge, polarity reversal, overheating, and even submersion, achieving waterproof capabilities up to IP67 standards.
Important Information:
- At the start of production for the Power 48-5000, Cruise 4.0 and 10.0 motors will be compatible with the new battery
- Power 48-5000 can be operated and switched on and off with the switch included in the scope of delivery of the new throttles part no. 1949-00,1950-00, 1951-00 and 1952-00. The gateway is also included in the scope of delivery of the new throttles
- A separate Gateway including the On/Off-Switch (part no. 2217-00) is required, if Power 48-5000 is used with standard Cruise models TQ-Bus and their standard tillers and throttles
- A separate On/Off-Switch (part no. 2215-00) is required, if Power 48-5000 is used with non-Torqeedo consumers

We know returns are no fun so we aim to make the return process as hassle free as possible! We have a 60-day return policy, which means you have 60 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Lithium batteries and products with lithium batteries inside are non returnable: Due to carrier regulations surrounding the shipment of lithium batteries (classified as a fully regulated hazardous material), we are unable to accept returns unless arranged locally.
