ePropulsion eLite 500W Electric Outboard delivers a new standard in portable marine propulsion, combining cutting-edge design, sustainable technology, and user-friendly operation. Available in both short and long shaft versions, the eLite is the most compact and lightweight electric outboard in its class—an ideal alternative to traditional small gas-powered motors.

With a nominal power of 500W and up to 750W in sports mode, the eLite is perfect for dinghies, tenders, and small boats seeking clean, quiet performance. An integrated 378Wh lithium-ion battery keeps things streamlined, while the included 100–240V AC charger (with optional 12V charger) makes recharging easy on land or at sea.

Designed for versatility and comfort, the eLite features:

Trim and tilt positions of 8°, 17°, and 26°, plus a 75° tilt angle and 36° shallow water mode tilt
±70° steering angle for precise control
Operating temperatures from 23°F to 131°F, ensuring performance across diverse climates
Adjustable shaft lengths with four settings each for short or long shaft options, suiting a wide range of transom heights. The short shaft is adjustible to 4 positions: 15.8 in, 14.27 in, 12.7 in, or 11.1 in. The long shaft is adjustible to: 17.0 in, 18.6 in, 20.2 in, or 21.7 in.

With a motor weight of just 14.7 lbs (or 17.4 lbs with bracket), the eLite is effortlessly portable. Its sleek dimensions—11.7 in x 3 in x 35 in—and minimalist build make it a top choice for boaters looking for efficient, eco-conscious propulsion.

Warranty Information

Limited Warranty

ePropulsion Technology Co., Ltd. (“ePropulsion”), warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal usage with proper installation and routine maintenance for a period of twenty-four (24) months from date of delivery of products to end customers (the “Limited Warranty Period”). The Limited Warranty is provided to the first end customer of ePropulsion products ONLY. The Customer is entitled to free repair or replacement of defective or non-conform parts. Any warranty claim must be made within six (6) months of discovery of issues as provided below.

If the Limited Warranty Period expires, you can still enjoy maintenance services from dealers/distributors authorized by ePropulsion (the “ePropulsion Service Partners”) with minimum maintenance charge per occurrence.

In all warranty cases, ePropulsion will only bear the repair cost and other costs (such as those related to product installation, disassemble, transportation, financing, rental, etc.) as a direct result of issues covered by the Limited Warranty only. Any costs irrelevant to or out of the scope of the Limited Warranty will be born by the Customer alone.

Beyond the Limited Warranty, the Customer may have statutory rights in your jurisdiction according to applicable laws. Nothing in this Limited Warranty affects such rights. The Customer may have warranty claim rights arising from the purchase contract with ePropulsion Service Partners in addition to the rights granted by this Limited Warranty.

Products for commercial/professional use, even if only temporarily, are not covered by the Limited Warranty. Instead, the statutory warranty in your jurisdiction shall apply. You are encouraged to consult with ePropulsion Service Partners for applicable warranty and advice before engaging in such use.

* Commercial/professional Use refers to application cases that have high use frequency, high-reliability requirement or aim for money making, etc.

RUINED MY VACATION!

Blue Marine told me my motor would be delivered on June 12th, Then told me it would be delivered on June 16th and then told me it will be delivered on June 19th. Well we are leaving for vacation on the 16th!!!! I guess we will not be using our new boat this vacation. How disappointing. Very sad. Sadly No help from Blue Marine to rectify their mistake.

Great motor!

This motor easily moves my lido 14 sail boat. I was originally told it may not but I took a chance and am very happy with it. The battery has plenty of life to get us out and back the entire marina and still have 50%. I use it in normal mode and it is fast enough . Speed limit is 5mph in marina and is a no wake zone so this is perfect!

Looks even better upon arrival

Admittedly, I've not yet used my new eLite, but it arrived in excellent condition, and it looks extremely adaptable, adjustable and user friendly. Seems all charged up and ready to go once it turns warm out on the water!

The Perfect Motor

Using this on a 9’ West Marine “Classic Dinghy” and a 12’ Saturn inflatable- it pushes both of them very well, almost as fast as my 2.5hp Suzuki 4-stroke, but obviously with none of the noise and exhaust and fussy maintenance of the gas engine. It’s crazy lightweight and portable, a keeper for sure!
